Best case: Canonical finds a site that's critical
of Ubuntu's wacky privacy-violating search setup,
and manages to intimidate the site into into shutting
down.
Worst case: If fixubuntu.com actually stands up to
legal threats, Canonical comes out with a "that was
a bit silly" response and try to turn it into not a
big deal.
It's hard to justify putting any internal filter on
scary lawyer letters if the consequences of sending
are either "win" or "de-escalate", and there's no
"lose." Talk about chilling effects.
